The Library "Geo Milev" is the biggest library- information center in District of Montana. The Library realizes information, cultural and coordination activities. The main goal of the library activities is to collect, organize and provide library- information resources. Cariies out a lot of activities in The Regional Studies Department. Provides information about the City of Montana and the region. The Library publishes references and carries out a lot of cultural activities and events. The Library keeps contacts with other libraries and institutions from Europe and USA.In the beggining of the 21 century, The Montana Library is challenged to be recognized as a local public information center. At the moment there is a local network of 10 computers and 1 computer for free Internet public access.
